About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sports Editor specializing in sports reporting (soccer & basketball) to strengthen our editorial team in the areas of sports betting and digital content. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills and a good understanding of the betting industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Editing, proofreading, and overseeing the production of daily sports and betting content.
• Managing and evaluating the editorial team (journalists, collaborators, contributors).
• Developing the editorial calendar and overseeing publications.
• Following soccer and basketball events (in Greece and internationally).
• Collaborating with video production to support YouTube productions (live commentary, previews, post-game shows, broadcasts).
• Working on a rotating schedule (mornings and evenings with remote work) and availability on weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as an editor-in-chief, content manager, or senior sports journalist.
• Very good knowledge of soccer and/or basketball at the national and international level.
• Experience with betting terminology and markets (pre-game and live).
• Ability to write and edit/proofread articles.
• Familiarity with the YouTube environment (content planning, collaboration with presenters, or production).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, journalistic environment.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with editorial tools (e.g., WordPress, CMS).
• Knowledge of SEO and digital writing structure.
• Comfortable in front of a camera or on the radio.
• Good knowledge of English.
