About the Role

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our team and provide legal support for the company’s commercial activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial law, with an emphasis on contracts, commercial partnerships, and transactions, ideally gained through work in a corporate legal department and/or in collaboration with businesses.

Responsibilities

• The incumbent will be responsible for providing legal advice on commercial law and transactions, the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts (such as contracts with suppliers, partnerships, and service provision), as well as for supporting commercial agreements and managing contractual relationships with partners.
• In addition, the candidate will identify and manage legal risks related to the company’s commercial activities, ensure compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework, and will work closely with internal departments (such as business, marketing, and operations) to ensure the proper implementation of agreements.
• Finally, will collaborate with external legal counsel where necessary.

Required Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a law degree and a license to practice law in Greece, at least 4 years of experience in commercial law with an emphasis on contracts, as well as proven experience in negotiating and managing commercial agreements.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and very good knowledge of English legal terminology are considered essential, as well as the ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and effectively collaborate with different departments.

Desirable Qualifications

A master’s degree in Commercial Law will be considered an additional qualification, as will experience in international commercial transactions or cross-border agreements, as well as familiarity with commercial terms in digital or online services.
